David Gill has revealed about transfer talks plans with Sir Alex Ferguson

Manchester United's chief David Gill

Man Utd's Chief David Gill has revealed that he is ready to go into transfer talks with SAF. And it is rumored that a creative midfielder will be the main transfer target for the remaining transfer market.

Gill said: "When we get back from tour, we will be in to the office and we will sit down and assess it with Sir Alex and his coaches." He will meet the the wily manger this morning to plan the club next move in the remainder of the trasnfer window.

He also said: "I don't want to talk about specifics, but it's clear to say that in order to get into the United team you have to be a top-class player and those are the sort of players that we want.
"There are not many around and, if they are around, they may not be available, partly because of the contractual situation for themselves or the views of the club.
"The important point to say is that you never know what will happen. I've been around long enough to know that things can change quite quickly in football."

Valencia puts pen to paper to a new contract at Manchester United

Antonio Valencia has signed a new deal at Manchester United and extended his current deal worth  £50,000-a-week for two more seasons which will keep him at united until 2014/2015 season.

Valencia was delighted to sign the contract extension.

Valencia said 'I am delighted to stay at United. Since my first day at Carrington, I have been happy here. I hope that I can continue to develop as a player. I am looking forward to making my contribution to helping this squad compete for more trophies.'

Similarly,  Sir Alex Ferguson added: 'Antonio has made a fantastic contribution since his arrival. His speed, crossing ability and versatility have been a big asset for us.
'He has a quiet, unassuming way of going about his business, which is underlined by great strength of character – as his recovery from such a bad injury last season proves.'

SAF says Hernandez will only be back in a month

Sir Alex Ferguson has said that he expect to have Chicharito back in the Manchester United only after a month.

This is after Nani revealed that Chicharito was fit and ready to play after two training sessions. But Fergie has revealed that he won't rush Chicharito into action and will give him plenty of time to recover.

Chicharito suffered concussion during training before Man Utd.'s match against MLS-All Stars. Even though Ferige has revealed that he is fine he doesn't want to risk him for this weeks match against Manchester City.

He stated that: ''Javier is coming back with us,'' said Ferguson. ''He is fine. He won't play for a couple of weeks but that would have been the case anyway.
''He was always going to need a break until he got his fitness back. He will do some training, then we will have him back in three to four weeks.''

Sneijder: I Still Have a Chance

The transfer rumour of Wesley Sneijder joining Premier League with Manchester United has been kept alive by Sneijder himself. Recently speaking after 3-0 loss to City he spoke, he still has chances of a move to Old Trafford.

“What will happen? We'll see,” Sneijder said on Sunday. “There is always a chance that something will happen, but we will see."

Sneijder has been called to be Manchester United's top target this summer for a reported fee of approximately 35 million pounds. But United boss Sir Alex has said the deal to be dead throughout this month's tour of the United States.

“There is always speculation," said Sneijder, who would be an ideal replacement for the recently retired Paul Scholes in the team's midfield. "I've said before, I've played for almost 10 years at the highest level and every year there is speculation.”

However, speaking after his team's 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the Dublin Super Cup, he said he's still happy there, "As you can see, I'm still here."

"I'm always happy. I'm a happy guy," Sneijder said. "I'm just happy to train every day with my colleagues and to train every day and to play my game for the fans."

Darren Fletcher back from injury ahead of new season

Darren Fletcher has now fully recovered from his stomach virus. He has been suffering this 'scary' injury for months now and expressed delight after having returned from this injury.

Darren Fletcher could not take part in Manchester United's pre-season tour due to this stomach virus. He lost a big amount of weight and energy following this illness and was ordered to stay away from Carrington training ground.

Fletcher said that nobody found what the virus really was.

But he stated that: 'We never got to the bottom of what the virus was but it knocked me back,’ he said. ‘I’m hardly a person who can afford to lose weight but I did.
'Now though I’m fully on the mend. I missed the run-in to the championship and a place in the starting line-up for the Champions League final.
‘It was scary, but actually with the diet I’m on now I’m actually heavier than I was. I feel fighting fit.’

He has now gained weight and will be perfectly fit for the upcoming season and the Community Shield match against Manchester City this weekend.
