Kevin Davies's tackle on Cleverly

Messages posted on a fake Cleverly facebook page told that the young midfielder was angry with Kevin Davies's harsh tackle. Manchester United made clear that the account was not genuine while Kevin's wife Emma who was reported to have recieved abusive messages herself tweeted to say that there had been contact between the two players.

Her tweet read: 'For all the ill-informed haters... Kevin spoke to Tom Cleverly (sic) on the phone earlier. He would never intentionally hurt anyone.'
The injury didn't trun up to be bad as first thought though Cleverly has been reported to be sidelined for four weeks. The youngster is set to miss United's champions league clash against Benfica.
