United manager Dr. Sir Alex Ferguson has rubbished rumours that he was trying to sell Berbatov : last season's highest goal-scorer in Barclays Premier League.
In-spite of his excellent performance last season, Berbatov was benched for most of the time due to Javier Hernandez's marvelous debut season. He was not in squad for the Champions League final.
Sir Alex had suggested possibility of Berbatov being sold to Paris Saint Germain in a recent interview to a French journalist but told that he didn't fully understand the question. Its's non-sense, he told to SkySports now.
" There is absolutely no interest from PSG or encouragement from us either."
" I thought she was asking about our chances for the season."
Ferguson has a lot to choose from for striking options this season with Danny Welbeck, Mame Biram Diouf and Federico Macheda returning from loan spells last season. They look set to challenge the leading trio for a place in the starting line-up.
